Our goal is to make HIGH-PERFORMANCE electric off-road bikes more accessible to New Zealanders by delivering top-tier performance at a more affordable price.
Founded in 2023, E Moto NZ set out to make high-performance electric off-road bikes more accessible to everyday New Zealanders, delivering serious capability at a better price. Based in Lake Tekapo, the business was built from the ground up on a passion for electric mobility and the freedom it brings.
Since launching, we’ve imported over 20 bikes. As of 2025, our mission remains the same: to help more riders, adventurers, and farmers across Aotearoa experience the power of electric.
With instant torque, low maintenance, and zero emissions, these bikes are built for real world riding, whether it’s farm work, forest trails, or remote backcountry adventures.

I started E Moto NZ in 2023 after researching electric bikes during COVID. Living in the small rural town of Lake Tekapo, in New Zealand’s South Island, I saw a real opportunity to help farmers reduce their emissions by helping them switch to electric.

Wait times
Shipping & Availability
At E Moto NZ, we keep prices low by ordering most bikes directly from the manufacturer instead of holding large stock. This means you get a fresh, brand-new bike, but it can also mean a wait time, depending on the model and shipping method. Most bikes are sent via sea freight, with delivery usually taking 30–50 days. Arctic Leopard models can often be air-freighted, so they may arrive faster. Estimated shipping times are listed on each product page. Please note that shipping times are out of our control, delays from freight, customs, or global logistics can happen, and we appreciate your patience.
